What are Human Directionals?

Why are human directionals so effective?
First and foremost they are animated and entertaining. Unlike signs or billboard, Human directionals are creative in nature and animation while capturing every set of eyes on the road generating a buzz for your business. In addition, costumes can be customized based on the season, weather, or theme, for example: Leprechaun’s for St. Patrick’s weekend, Zombies during October or a Gentleman in a Tuxedo.

How does it work?
- The Human Directional typically reports to the client’s onsite personnel at the beginning of the shift. The client will provide the sign that they will be using that day and is usually stored onsite.
After checking-in, the Human Directional goes to their area of responsibility. The shift is typically six hours. Each shift has scheduled breaks, including a lunch break (required at six hours). Standard hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or 12 noon to 6 p.m.
Human Directionals are actively pointing the sign toward the direction of the project. They are not encouraged to throw or twirl the signs as the expectation is to direct people to the right location (hard to do if people can’t read the sign).
